Cindy Pierce
Cindy Pierce is an author, educational speaker, sexuality educator, comic storyteller, innkeeper and mom of three young adults. Combining years of research with her storytelling skills, Cindy engages audiences with her message supporting teens to make healthy choices and navigate cultural pressures, both online and off. It has become increasingly challenging for young people to feel at ease, worthy and relevant as they attempt to find balance in their busy lives.
Cindy is the author of three books, including: Sexploitation: Helping Kids Develop Healthy Sexuality in a Porn-Driven World.

Kara Alaimo
Kara Alaimo, PhD is author of the book Over the Influence: Why Social Media is Toxic for Women and Girls — And How We Can Take It Back.
She is a communication professor at Fairleigh Dickinson, where she created the university’s programs in social media, and has been writing for CNN Opinion about the social impact of social media and issues affecting women and girls since 2016.

Kate Speer
Kate Speer is a marketing executive, creator-turned-entrepreneur, and renowned mental health advocate. Known for her brazen honesty and tireless work to de-stigmatize mental illness, she is on a mission to use business for good and address the teenage suicide epidemic head-on.
After five years as the CEO of The Dogist where she scaled its audience to 5 million and built a fully-fledged social impact e-commerce company, she is now working in Public Mental Health to use social media for good instead of the bottom line. Kate currently works with Harvard, Dartmouth, and UVM to scale the dissemination of evidence-based public health information through social media creator networks.
In her free time, she is finalizing her first memoir, building Mental Health is Cool, and sharing her lived experiences with serious mental illness with her community of 175,000 on social media and Substack.

Trey Tucker
Trey Tucker is a licensed mental health therapist with over 10 years of experience helping people achieve fulfillment, joy, and satisfaction in their lives. He has worked with corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, parents, students, and various organizations to maximize their performance and results by improving their mental health.

Known for his ability to connect on a deep level with individuals and large groups, Trey also holds specialized training in areas such as anxiety, trauma, relationship communication, sports psychology, identity, and purpose. He is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and neurofeedback.
​
Before becoming a therapist, Trey worked in marketing in the corporate world, where he earned his Master of Business Administration, and then transitioned into education. Even before he began his master’s degree in psychology, Trey began noticing patterns of what prohibited individuals and organizations from reaching their full potential, and he helped correct limiting and destructive thinking and behavior patterns. That instinct and experience, infused with the clinical psychological training he has received, gives Trey a unique ability to help people get to the root causes and find solutions and breakthroughs quickly.

Susanne Schmidt
Susanne’s experience as a licensed clinical mental health counselor and graduate professor, provides her listeners with a unique perspective on the healing power of stories. Her compelling and humorous presentations assist participants, staff, leadership teams, and board members to understand the neuroscience behind our stories and how to use the power of first-person narrative for good!

Susanne works with a host of mission-driven organizations. She develops workshops and private events for communities of people who want to apply the craft of storytelling to build teams, inspire culture, elevate communication and promote social justice. Susanne is an instructor for MothWorks and is a teaching artist at The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts.

Charles Wheelan is a senior lecturer and policy fellow at the Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth College, a former correspondent for The Economist, and the author of assorted books that attempt to make serious topics more accessible (and even fun).
